For me....Photography is not just point and shoot....it's technical, it's about an individual's perspective, it's subjective, it's frustrating, it's about settings and dials and expensive equipment, the right light, and hours of editing and then add in a healthy dose of comparing your photos to someone else's and you have a recipe for a big bowl of hopelessness and dashed dreams.....
But even in the midst of all that realness, it's more about love and soul-stirring beauty....it's about how I see the world, the people, places and faces on this big beautiful planet. It's about the look in an eye that is directly connected to the soul; it's about the smallest, most intricate detail at the heart of a flower bloom; It's about pouring a little bit of me in each and every photo.
